Myyrä
A composition contest took place to mark the 25th anniversary of Helsinki Metro. Tinnitus entered with Myyrä (Mole). Strangely enough, it didn’t win.
The composers were provided with recorded sounds of the Metro which they had to use in their work. Everything you hear in Myyrä is from these recordings. No synthetic sounds nor acoustic instruments were used.
Myyrä is a story about a ride on the last metro train of the night through the eastern suburbs of Helsinki.
